Dr. Vick Chan was very fortunate to be invited back to his former School of Optometry, the Illinois College of Optometry, as an alumni to attend the Practice Opportunity Symposium (POS). A full day event on the 7th of April, 2017, the POS allows current students to connect with and ask questions directly to alumni about a full range of topics. As a Canadian returning back to the Chicago based school, many of the students had many questions about the transition into and practicing in Canada. Introducing our new Fundus Retinal Camera!
What exactly does that mean? That means we can now take pictures of both the front part and the inside part of the eye! This not only allows us to better educate our patients as to what’s happening with their eye condition, but also allows for essential monitoring of healthy and diseased eyes.
Instead of just describing the condition in your patient chart, we can now take pictures that would allow for instant comparison over years of eye examinations! Come make an appointment today to get pictures taken and to better monitor the health of your eyes.
